Forecast

With remote and hybrid working the new norm, along with many new team members joining our team of data scientists and consultants in 2022, we decided we needed to bring the team together to build greater cohesion and reinforce the Forecast values - above & beyond, keep moving forward, never walk alone & enjoy the ride. As a leader, I am a strong advocate for developing people and setting them up for a great career. 

The ONE Beyond Success approach resonated with me, with a focus on success as an individual and success as a team. It brought together my goals of developing individual team members and simultaneously creating a culture of stronger connection. I loved how from the beginning the individual team member goals were uncovered and integrated into the workshops. This made it very tailored to each and every one of us and ensured personal buy-in from all team members.  

The multiple workshop format also meant that this was a growth journey, rather than a one-off exercise. Through working at the root cause level of behaviour & motivation we ended up with deeper and more meaningful learnings than traditional team development could have given us.  

Sonja and Mirjana are very effective facilitators, with an ability to set participants at ease, deliver science & behavioural research in an engaging manner, and guide us personally with clear instructions through the interactive exercises and break-out sessions. 

Our team is very diverse, and we have quite a few introverts, however Mirjana and Sonja were able to very quickly open people up. 

The ONE Beyond Success concept is not conventional. It was a new way for us that really helped us challenge our limiting beliefs and think outside of the box. It gave us the confidence to be real, be vulnerable, and connect deeply.  

Our team are spread around Australia, so we had a mix of in-person workshops and virtual workshops. This combination worked very well, the in-person was very engaging and personal, and the virtual workshops kept a good cadence to ensure we could continue our learning journey.

One of the most valuable (and enjoyable) aspects of the workshops was the personal sharing break-out sessions.  Whilst we have regular team catch ups, the topics generally centre on work related matters, so this was an opportunity to really get to know everyone on the team on a far deeper level.  

All team members enjoyed the process and learned so much, there is a tangible improvement in team cohesion and culture.  

There is also a measurable improvement in personal growth & development, including:

• Confidence in own ability improved by 13.58%, 
• Developing ways to relax when under pressure improved by 46.15%, 
• Using opportunities to attain goals improved by 40.62%, 
• Feeling close and connected to colleagues improved by 18.28%

The ONE Beyond Success Foundation Program has been a great development program and our team (and business) is stronger for it.  I am excited about our continuing partnership and our next steps on the journey of integrating ONE Beyond Success into our team culture.
